The Aesthetics Programme develops and trains our students' artistic ability. It enables the joyful study of the Arts, thus maintaining the artistic enthusiasm and interest of our students. We pay equal attention to the process, the result, their abilities and interests. We apply the 4 circulation teaching modes, namely Artistic Appreciation, Artistic Theory, Artistic Practice and Artistic Innovation
· Drama
Drama at SSIS is geared towards the development of young performers who can create, collaborate, lead and improvise in accordance with the I4C values.
Through use of traditional Pan-Asian instruments, and exposure to both western and Asian classical and contemporary music, we nurture music appreciation, provide platforms for performances, and develop an understanding of the role of music in society. Talented students are specially selected for our Traditional Chinese Musical Instrument Programme.
· Art and Craft
At SSIS, Art and Craft is used to not only teach various practical artistic skills, but to motivate our students to view the world in an inspired way – with freedom, enjoyment, and an appreciation of beauty.
