Why RAPIDS? Well, all our children are precious, and so our classes are named after precious jewels - Ruby, Amber, Pearl, Ivory, Diamond and Sapphire .... and the six initial alphabets spell out - RAPIDS!

And the word 'rapids' is about water - fast moving water. over rocks, dangers and obstables - a symbol of our exciting journey through life and education in SSIS. Water, being a dominant symbol in our School logo, has always been an indicator of civilization, as cities grow and prosper around this valuable resource.
